CAL1 Certified Agile Leader 1 (CAL-1)
Understand what agile leadership actually means in daily behaviour — well beyond the buzzwords — and how your own leadership behaviour shapes whether the agile teams around you succeed or quietly stall. You'll learn to shift from managing tasks and resources to enabling people and systems, create the conditions where teams can genuinely self-organise, and recognise when your own leadership habits are undermining the agility you're trying to build. Built for leaders, managers and executives sponsoring or working alongside agile teams, CAL-1 is the Scrum Alliance's baseline certification in agile leadership.
CAL2 Certified Agile Leader 2 (CAL-2)
Go deeper into leading and designing complex adaptive organisations — applying systemic thinking to evolve organisational structures, incentives and culture so they enable rather than constrain agility. You'll explore authentic leadership, working with your own values, style and blind spots, and learn to engage board-level stakeholders on transformation agendas that actually stick rather than fading after the initial push. Built for CAL-1 holders and senior leaders responsible for organisational design, CAL-2 is the Scrum Alliance's most advanced credential in the leadership track.
