Giuseppe De Simone

Giuseppe De Simone is a Certified Scrum Trainer and Certified Enterprise & Team Coach who helps individuals, teams, and organisations become more productive by embracing Agile values, principles, and practices. He holds a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering and started his career as a software developer in 1999, after a year of civil service in a care home for abandoned children and single mothers.

He has worked in product development for more than 25 years, drawn early on to the science of how people work together effectively: the conditions that turn a group of knowledge workers into an organisation capable of delivering products and services customers love. After several years coordinating complex international telecom and IT projects across distributed sites, he moved into Agile coaching and training in 2010, since accumulating more than 15,000 hours of coaching across companies including Ericsson, Swedbank, Tetra Pak, IKEA, Roche, Wärtsilä, Danfoss, Miro, Accenture, and Unipol SAI. As a trainer he has delivered more than 5,000 class hours across Agile, Scrum, Product Management, and Leadership, and is an Approved Certified Agile Leadership and Path to CSP Educator, one of the few in the world holding every guide-level certification from Scrum Alliance.

Giuseppe's interest in leadership, change management, and complexity is shaped as much by 30+ years as a Scout and 20+ years as a Scout Leader as by his engineering training, an outlook that shows up in how he balances structure with genuine care for the people doing the work.
