Bio

Martin von Weissenberg is a Full Stack Agile Coach and Trainer and Certified Enterprise Coach® (CEC), based in Helsinki, with more than 12,000 hours of professional coaching of leaders and teams at all levels and over 1,800 training hours. He currently works as an in-house Enterprise Agile Coach at Aktia Group, alongside his work as a Better Change Fellow Coach.

Background & expertise

He spent ten years as Agile Coach and Trainer at agile42 Finland, helping organisations of all sizes become more agile and lean, increasingly working directly with senior management to shift culture and thinking models. He has also served as Head of Trainings at Cognitive Edge, renewing the Cynefin® accreditation courses and building a network of accredited trainers, and has been a PhD student in Management and Organization at Hanken School of Economics since 2011, researching the paradigm shift between industrial manufacturing and post-industrial software development from an organisational and leadership perspective.

Approach

His job is to help organisations change their culture and ways of working into something more fit for their strategic goals, combining the right leadership approach with change management tools so organisations can learn to change themselves in a structured, sustainable way, with the explicit goal of making clients self-sufficient. Martin is one of the authors behind the agile42 book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to Agile Coaching," and has volunteered for years with the Scrum Alliance and Agile Finland non-profits.
